Further success followed when Solpoll 1 Gilbert was named Sire of the Year and his daughter Dendor 1 Molly 41st was confirmed as the UK Female of the Year for 2014.

Henry sets another first!

The UK Sire of the Year is Panmure 1 Henry, a first for a sire resident in Northern Ireland.

Its been a great year for Henry, with his progeny dominating the show ring collecting enough points from qualifying shows to crown him Sire of the Year.

Spearheaded by Stella L2, Royal Ulster & National Champion & Female of the Year, Lawyer Reserve Male Champion Royal Ulster & National & Bull of the Year along with numerous other prize winners, see Show success page.

However, it was at the business end - in the sale ring, where Panmure 1 Henry’s progeny performed the best. His progeny sold for the highest prices at the three Northern Ireland Shows & Sales to crown him the N.I. Sire of the Year. At the Spring Show & Sale held at Hereford Market, three “Henry” sons sold for the top prices of 10,800, 10,500 & 8,200gns respectively and a daughter sold for the top price of 5,200gns

Pounder joins A.I. Services!

Pounder was one of our most admired calves last year and he caught the eye of Robin Boyd who selected him to join the bull line up of A.I. Services. His semen will be available throughout the UK and Ireland. His full sister has produced some fantastic ET calves and his full brother is a stand out calf in the group.

Semen Sales going strong!

We have recently exported semen from Dynamite and Henry to Germany. We hope the bulls can make as big an impact over there as they have in the UK. Both bulls have had semen exported to other European countries previously.
